Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw (/fɒ̄/ /ɹǔːæ/ [white; blank; clear; transparent] [god; idol]) is a subtropical Town located in the Jǎlēyeēy Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw is derived from the Goblin language, as Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw was founded by Onshi Shnirlol Bhogney, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 6°C (42°F). Overview

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1322, by Onshi Shnirlol Bhogney. The establishment of Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Onshi Shnirlol Bhogney electing to pay people to resettle in Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw is buildings are speckled and packed arround broad packed earth streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The monster and outlaw focused fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw is a bustling hive of activity. Everyone moves at nothing short of a jog, each convocation is a mile a minute, and there’s dedicated lanes for riding through town in the center of each street. The locals all appear to be not merely occupied, but in a true hurry for everything from drinking a pint of ale to their daily work.

Civic Infrastructure

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

There’s a relatively new religion in Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is short in Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw.

The Venomroach near Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves embarking on a group pilgrimage to channel Necromancy energies of tier 3 via moments of science.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century the Kami spared the town from an attack. One of Faw̄ Rǔ̄ē Nêōw's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
